Access Please note that access to the areas should be arranged prior our survey commencement. BES shall advise the client of any access restrictions or related issues which could have an impact on the survey requirements or deliverables. BES should notify the client as soon as practical of such issues and ensure all reasonable steps are taken to reduce adverse impacts.The client and BES shall agree any actions to resolve identified access issues or provide explicit agreement on omission from the survey scope of areas proven to be inaccessible.This part of the quotation is based upon the above outlined elements and has been priced in accordance with the client supplied scope at the time of preparation. If additional site or processing work is required beyond the items outlined above due to amendments or additions to the scope by the client, we reserve the right to re-visit our price for the work. This can be achieved by the client requesting an additional fixed price for these variations on the original scope, or by agreed additional site visits or processing at day rates.All necessary parties to be notified of our presence on site to allow free access for our survey personnel in areas where surveying and setting out works need to be carried out, as and when required.All areas should be kept clear of materials and safe for personnel to work in.Any visits to site that may have to be rescheduled due to lack of access, etc. or other problems that are out of our control will be charged at day rate.Obscured featuresThe surveyor will not be responsible for omission of details obscured during site survey dates unless action for clearance in advance has been agreed and completed for:features obscured by vegetation, debris, snow, sand, earth, when working outside and plaster, cladding, carpet etc. when working inside buildingsfeatures obscured by vehicles, trailers, temporary covers, stacked materialsfeatures inside buildings obscured by coverings, furniture, fixtures and fittingsfeatures inside inspection covers/manholes/chambers obscured by debris, blockages (where internal chamber survey details are requested in the scope)features omitted due to lack of adequate lighting or physical access (i.e. at height)Actions for reducing or removing obscured items are to be undertaken by the client prior to the survey date.BES has not allowed for any specialist access equipment to carry out the works. The Client will provide any platforms or equipment as such. All areas should be kept clear of materials and safe for personnel to work in.If the account is to be billed to a third party, we would require a letter or email of appointment directly from them together with their address for invoicing prior to commencement of any work.Terms and conditionsDefinitionsWherever these words and expressions appear in these conditions they have the following meanings; ‘’We’’, ‘’us’’ – means Bruno Engineering Survey (BES).‘’You’’, ‘’your’’ – means the customer employing BES Services.“the services” – means any land, building or underground survey or setting out of the site or any other service provided by us to you."The plans" - means the plans and all other written materials produced by us and supplied to you to summarise and record the services provided by us to you."The site" - means all of the land or buildings to be surveyed or above or surrounding the area to which we require access for the provision of the services."The price"- means the quoted price or scale of charges applicable to the grade of each of our employees or agents engaged in providing the services, exclusive of VAT."The delivery date" - means the estimated date of delivery of the services and the plans.“Force Majeure”- means any circumstances beyond our control which prevent or delay the provision of the services or the plans.Conditions
